Many of you who have been using Facebook for a long time have probably logged into it from different devices. Well, in case you kept some of those devices, but you still aren’t using them, there’s no reason for you to stay logged in. This is just one example, as there are many other reasons why you might want to log out of Facebook from various devices. In this article, we will show you how to log out of Facebook from all devices at once.
You can do this from your Android app and your personal computer. Pick the one that works best for you, but we’ll show you how to do it from both sides. We’ll start with your smartphone and then do the same with the web client. The procedure is not complicated at all, just find the right menu in the Settings. That being said, let’s get started.
How to Log Out of Facebook From All Devices at Once Using Your Phone
The first thing you’ll need to do is open your Facebook app, of course. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to tap on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner.
A new menu will open. Scroll down until you see the “Settings and privacy” option, then tap on it.
In the drop-down menu below, several new options will appear. You will need to select the first called “Settings”.
In the “Settings”, locate the “Password and security” submenu and tap on it.
Among a multitude of different options, you will see the “Where you are connected” section. In it, some of your recently used devices will be located. To see all the devices you’re logged into Facebook with, tap the “See All” option on the side.
Scroll to the end of your list and press the “Log out of all sessions” button to end all of your connections.
How to Log Out of Facebook from All Devices at Once Using Your PC
If you prefer to do all of this through your PC, that’s perfectly fine. Go to Facebook.com and log in. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see a downward pointing arrow in the top right corner. Click on it.
A drop-down menu will appear and one of the options will be “Settings and privacy”.
In the next menu, you will need to click on the “Settings” option, which is in the first line.
When you open the “Settings”, different options appear. We are interested in the “Security and connection” menu.
There you will see the “Where you are logged in” session and the “See more” option below, which you must click on.
Scroll down until you see the “Sign out from all sessions” option. Click it if you want to log out of all your sessions.
In fact, I was surprised at how many of my sessions were still active, so I decided to end several of them. The situation will be different for you, but it can be a useful tool.
