Love Island 2022 finalist Gemma Owen has followed in former contestant Molly-Mae Hague’s footsteps by starting her own YouTube channel.

Gemma has over two million Instagram followers, for example, and is now looking to bring some of those fans closer to their daily lives, having opened a YouTube channel.

The news should come as no surprise to fans of the show, who saw Molly-Mae come before her and grow a YouTube channel to the point where she has over 1.6 million subscribers.
On top of that, Gemma has already been a viral hit on the platform without having a dedicated account. Some videos featuring the influencer have already exceeded 500,000 views.
The challenge, of course, is building an audience with regular content. On August 24, the 19-year-old posted on Instagram, “My first YouTube video is coming very soon,” asking fans what they would like to see.
It comes just days after Gemma signed a contract as a PrettyLittleThing ambassador, a company Molly-Mae has also collaborated with after villa life. In 2021, she was appointed creative director of the brand.
