Police Report – City of Palo Alto, CA

The Police Report Log contains several data fields. From left to right, these fields are:

Case #: a unique sequential number identifying the event

Dated: the date the event was reported to the police

Time: the time the event was reported to the police, using a 24-hour clock

Offense: the type of event or the main type of crime

Site: the location of the event. Note that reports that have confidentiality protections under state law (e.g. child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.) will not include a specific address.

Information on the arrested person: If an adult has been arrested associated with the case, the fields for the arrested person will be completed (full name, gender, race, date of birth, city of residence and charges of arrest).
