This year’s REVOLT Summit x AT&T was more than just a star-studded event. In fact, the 19keys panelist says the event was all the culture needed.
“It’s beautiful because the exact thing we need right now is a cultural, spiritual and technological revolution,” he said backstage at REVOLT. “I think when we come together it forces people, no matter what you do, to try and think of something of value to give to our people. And when we are here, it represents a community. There is no violence. We’re in the middle of Atlanta, in the middle of the neighborhood, but what’s happening here is empowering each other.
19keys, who is a St. Louis-born, Oakland-raised thought leader, entrepreneur, and go-getter, also emphasized the endless and beneficial possibilities that come from an event like the REVOLT Summit. “What’s happening here is holding each other accountable about wealth, about the future of music, the future of opportunity. How we can take and control our own. So, I love seeing the expressions of our people showing up. They’re smiling, they’re networking, they’re working together, and they’re listening to something valuable,” he continued.
Although it threw out a few gems for the public to grab at the insightful two-day event, 19keys was more focused on walking than talking. It’s all about the action! “I believe you have to inspire people by what you do,” he shared. “I think motivation is dead because it doesn’t give you the substance and quality of things you need to become what you want. So for me, it’s about being a walking example. And watch other young men and women say, “Wait a minute, there are different archetypes we can aspire to.”
